Born in New Delhi, India, the youngest of eight children, the daughter of an Ambassador for India, Christabel Corazza had the privilege of living in many countries and speaks many languages. Her studies took her from the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains (Woodstock International School) to Great Britain (Royal School of Music) to America where she toured with a Professional Repertory Theater in Los Angeles, California.
The Lord combined Christabel’s love for cultures, people of the world, and music to serve Him through singing and sharing her personal faith journey in places such as India, Australia and for the Governor General of Jamaica. In America, she performed at Disney World, sharing the stage with 80’s/90’s top artists such as Truth, Mylon LeFevre, and Crystal Lewis. She had the opportunity to open for the Imperials, lead worship for a Joni Erikson Tada Conference, and even serve as a “Voice for Compassion International.”
America is where Christabel met her incredible husband Glen, of 15 years and where they are raising their three wonderful sons. With the coming of their new family, touring was set aside to devote time and invest in their boys. With the decision to say at home, the Lord provided a wonderful opportunity to serve her local church as the Director of Music (Manchester Community Church, Rock Hill, SC). It was a fruitful ministry. After serving 11 years as Music Director, she continues to learn both personally and professionally as God has transitioned her from that role.
Today, God is stirring new songs within Christabel’s heart. She has begun writing music and is excited to share it with you. Christabel possesses a contagious love for life and gift of joy that blesses all in this journey… anyone who gets to be a part of her life is blessed by her and the Spirit through her.
